Próba powołania w Bydgoszczy Pracowni Regionalnej Katedry Turystyki Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego w Warszawie

Abstrakt

A group of people involved in tourism in Bydgoszcz established close cooperation ties with the Faculty of Tourism of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw in 1964. Based on the Faculty of Tourism, there were attempts to establish an institution involved in studies on regional tourism in Bydgoszcz. Organizational and financial support was provided by the authorities of the Province of Bydgoszcz. Initially, plans included appointment of a research team consisting of several people at the Bydgoszcz Scientific Society, and later at the Regional Tourism Information Center. The foundation of the Bydgoszcz Regional Division of the Faculty of Tourism of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, modeled on a similar institution in Zielona Góra, was approved by the Council of the Department of Physical Education and the Rector of the Academy. The agreement on the foundation of the institution was supposed to be signed in January 1967, but due to unknown reasons it did not happen.
