Kalksteinowie - rodzina, Pluskowęsy, biblioteka, Wojewódzka i Miejska Biblioteka w BydgoszczyAbstrakt
The author of the article, describing the history of the Kalkstein family, its active participation in economic activities and the estate in Pluskowęsy, presents a part of the library collection displayed in the WiMBP Library in Bydgoszcz. The Library in Pluskowęsy was founded in the middle of the 13th century. The founders of the collection were Karol and Antoni Kalksteins. It features 313 items contained in 371 volumes. There are mostly old prints, no incunabula have been preserved. The oldest preserved print dates from the 16th century. In relation to old prints and publications released in the 19th and 20th centuries, the author uses an identical presentation of collections: topographic structure, thematic structure, language structure (for old prints). Neither inventory nor catalog has been preserved, and collections had been scattered during World War II.
