After 1989, development of religious media started as a result of political, legal, economic and technical changes. Initially, they included simple newspapers and magazines, usually dedicated to activities in the parish. Starting from the late 2 0 th century, websites developed and run by parishes have been gaining popularity. Bydgoszcz and its region had quickly initiated religious activity with the use of media. The initial creative enthusiasm quickly faded away. These days, religious media that are active in the regions of Małopolska and Silesia are national leaders.
