Andrzej Maziec (1948-2015)

Abstrakt

Andrzej Maziec is a Bydgoszcz photographer. His works can be distinguished by amazing expressiveness and mature reflection on the world captured on photos. Factography of photography is permeated with metaphysics. He had an ability to capture incredible images of eternity in daily life. He was one of the first participants of artistic activities in public space. He was a member of “Grupa Działania” (Activity Group) in Lucim, exhibited in the “Podwórko” (Backyard) Gallery, and participated in the famous “Akcja Podróż” (Travel Campaign) in 1976 and “Akcja Lucim” (Lucim Campaign) in 1977. He was the originator of the “Autorska Galeria Pamięci” (Authors’ Memorial Gallery), an idea developed consistently by him for many decades.
