Bydgoszcz archives in the Geheimes Staatsarchiv PreuBischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin

Abstract

The article describes results of archive searches, conducted in the Geheimes Staatsarchiv PreuBischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. The visit had two targets. The first one w as to get acquainted with the office-archival aids in the Regierungsbezirk Bromberg in order to find archival sources, which would allow for establishing a perfect archival inventory for the archival group stored in Berlin and Bydgoszcz. The second target w as to perform searches regarding the records related to Bydgoszcz. There are many interesting sources to the history of the city and region in the archival materials related to Bydgoszcz.
