Abstract

The text presents the general problem of using the virtual music instruments in the realization of the sonorization of the compositions and music arrangements. The problem was based on the tests carried out by the author among the composers (lecturers in the Academies), which directed him to formulate the subject of this work. The text presents the subjects: the application of the score editors in the virtual instrumentalization, methods and types of extracting the sound from the digital instrument – creating totally different conditions of playing than a real instrument. The author of the article being aware of the lack of appropriate and at the same time specialized literature concerning composition and digital arrangements, showed some aspects of using a computer in the work of composer and composer-educator.
