Abstract

The article presents an analysis of how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the video game industry by highlighting numerous examples of its applications, ranging from level generation to the design of non-playable characters. The author points out that the use of modern algorithms not only significantly accelerates the creative process but also reduces production costs, opening up new development opportunities for this rapidly growing industry. On the other hand, alongside the positive aspects, the article also discusses the negative consequences, such as threats to traditional jobs and examples of mass layoffs. Additionally, the author emphasizes that although technological progress brings many benefits, it also poses serious social challenges that require the introduction of appropriate regulations and measures to mitigate the negative aspects of this phenomenon. The author encourages reflection on how to balance innovation with the protection of workers’ interests, so that technological development does not become the cause of lasting negative social consequences.
