Dogmatyka Prawa
In accordance with the recommendations, in order to counteract cases of ‘ghostwriting’ - ‘honorary authorship’ (when someone has made a significant contribution to the creation of a publication without disclosing their participation as one of the authors or without mentioning their role in the acknowledgements included in the publication) and ‘guest authorship’ (when the author's contribution is negligible or non-existent, yet they are listed as the author/co-author of the publication) The editorial board of Dogmatyka Prawa:

Requires authors of publications to disclose the contribution of individual authors to the publication (including their affiliations and contributions, i.e. information on who is the author of the concepts, assumptions, methods, etc. used in the preparation of the publication), with the main responsibility lying with the author submitting the manuscript;
The editorial board accepts only texts prepared by authors, not artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including those generated by CHAT GPT;
It should obtain information about the sources of funding for the publication, the contribution of scientific and research institutions, associations and other entities, and the contribution of all persons who participated in the creation of the text at each stage of its development (‘financial disclosure’). The author is required to provide this information in the first footnote under the title;
It documents all instances of scientific misconduct and takes the position that all detected cases will be exposed, including notification of the relevant entities (institutions employing the authors, scientific societies, associations of scientific editors, etc.);
The publisher and editors, as well as the journal itself, will never encourage any form of violation of research and publishing ethics and will not allow them to occur knowingly. The Publisher and the Editorial Board will take all reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of articles in which such violations may have occurred. If the Publisher and the Editorial Board are notified of any suspected violations, they will respond and react appropriately.
All parties involved in the creation of the journal, i.e. the Publisher, Editorial Board, Reviewers and all Authors, are required to adhere to ethical standards at every stage of their involvement. The standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics are hereby considered a model. All parties are expected not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of religious or political beliefs, origin, gender or sexual orientation.
Thematic editors are expected to behave fairly and objectively, prioritising academic merit, and to follow appropriate procedures if any complaints or abuses arise. Their responsibilities also include monitoring publishing ethics.
Reviewers are expected to help improve the quality of the published article through objective review of the manuscript; maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript; be aware of potential conflicts of interest in any form. If necessary, they will withdraw from reviewing such an article.
Authors are required to confirm that the manuscript they wish to publish has not been published elsewhere or is not being considered for publication, and to properly describe and cite sources if they have been used. The author's work must be original; if it contains elements borrowed from other sources, these must be clearly and unambiguously described, and the author must have permission to reproduce the content from these sources. Authors must inform the editorial board if there is a conflict of interest.
If unethical behaviour occurs, the editorial board and publisher must be informed immediately. All allegations should be treated seriously and equally until a conclusion is reached. Preliminary decisions will be made by the editorial board, which will then consult with the publisher if necessary.
In cases of breaches of publishing ethics of any kind, the Editors will apply the Publishing Ethics Resource Kit (PERK).
The Publisher and Editorial Board are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications and apologies if necessary.
