Methods of learning foreign languages - an international aspect

The article is coauthored and is devoted to the issue of learning foreign languages and methods used for this purpose. To this end the survey was carried out involving students of Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarki w Bydgoszczy. The paper gives an overview of the existing methods of learning languages applied throughout the recent period of time, emphasizing their features. This paper is based on a brief theoretical literature, the analysis of the activities in the language classroom, and the analysis of the data of the survey. The authors analyze the findings and determine the prospects for development and use of modern means of learning foreign languages in the present paper. The article highlights possible practical use of the findings by means of adjustment of existing academic curricular, making changes when preparing to
university classes, etc.
