Abstract

The article presents the practical dimension of comparative education as a source of knowledge and inspiration for introducing educational changes and understanding education in the world in general. The article discusses selected possibilities of using comparative education for the development of education and explains the applied nature of comparative research. The article discusses who and how can use comparative education. In order to present the practical dimension of comparative education, the method of analyzing existing sources – available educational research – was used, and references were made to classic texts and sources of comparative education.
