Abstract

The following article is about identifying the causes of graphomotor problems in preschool and early school age children. The development of graphomotorics is an important aspect of a child’s development and is related to the phases of the development of visual, auditory, kinesthetic perception, locomotion, body posture, play, language and movement. Thus, it is of great
importance for the integral development of a child and is an important aspect in determining the level of learning maturity, including the achievement of fluent, independent writing (Wieczór, 2019). The first part outlines the development of fine motor skills and types of grips. Further on, attention is paid to the importance of the level of muscle tone in the development of motor and graphomotorics. The paper presents the course and results of own research on the dependence of the graphomotor level in children with posture, postural tension, proprioception, and the efficiency of the shoulder girdle. Research has shown a close relationship. The value of the conducted research and the result of its reliable interpretation is the development of individual therapeutic strategies in order to improve, restore function or optimize tension.
