The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between final and instrumental values and cheating, assistance in cheating and unwillingness to help in testing. The Test questionnaire (to measure three dimensions of cheating) and the Rokeach Value Survey in the Polish adaptation of P. Brzozowski were used. 549 high school students were examined. The results confirmed negative relationship between cheating and the values of „honest” and „wisdom”. The positive correlation of assistance in cheating with the value of „helpful” and negative between this value and unwillingness to help were also confirmed. On the other hand, the link between cheating and the value of „freedom” has not been confirmed. The relationships between other final and instrumental values and the three dimensions of cheating were explored.
