The function of theoretical saturation and unsaturation – the methodological implications for study in education

The article presents the idea of the function of theoretical saturation, which is inspired by the notion of Gottlob
Frege’s unsaturation function. The key thesis that pedagogy uses the mathematical concept of function has become the basis of argumentation, which is grounded in the analysis of theoretical concepts and models, for the postulate of treating theoretical saturation as a process focused on the isomorphism of mapping the subject of study into a system of language symbols. This postulate and quoted arguments open a discussion on expanding the framework of theoretical instruments in the description and analysis of the theoretical saturation issue.
