Child’s adaptation to kindergarten – results of research conducted in Poland and Germany in 2014

This article develops the problem of child’s adaptation to kindergarten. It reports the main parts of this process
in all of its importance. Main part of this article is devoted to summarising the research (including their
methodology), that were conducted in Poland and Germany in 2014. It’s main aim was to determine links
between adaptation strategies that are undertaken by children as they commence their pre-school education
and the actions taken by their families and the kindergarten staff in this matter.
