The sexual integration of the youths as a reflection of sexual maturity

The sexuality of the youths is a phenomenon, which intrigues the representatives of the science as well as the
parents of teenagers. Facing the numerous threats of the adolescents’ harmonious sexual development and
taking into account the importance of that period of life in regards to sexuality, it seems reasonable to dwell
upon the widely recognizable sexuality of the youths. Due to the above, the gathered knowledge not only
will be deepened but also used to improve the quality of human functioning. The purpose of the following article is to present the author’s concept of the sexual integration of the youths. During the maintained analyses, the concept has been compared to the classical approaches to the sexual maturity. In the final part of the article, the most essential results of the empirical examinations, which refer to the level of the sexual integration of the youths, are presented.
