The aim of this article is to present the Polish version of The Brief Resilience Coping Scale (BRCS) created by V.G. Sinclair and K.A. Wallston. It is dedicated for adults and measures resilience as a process. The scale consists of only 4 items with 5-point rating scale, which gives the opportunity to examine large group of people fast and efficiently. On the other hand, this advantage is also associated with the validity of Cronbach’s alpha for the scale amounting to 0.625, which can be considered as satisfying in this case. The results of research also show that The Brief Resilience Coping Scale can be useful for identifying people in need of support in developing their resilience. This competence refers to the quality and satisfaction of life. However, further psychometric analyses are needed.
