Abstract

The paper presents the problem of motivation in education. Theoretical concepts of motivation were presented. The article puts a lot of emphasis on E. Deci’s and R.M. Ryan’s concept of Self-Determination Theory. The theoretical framework, external and internal regulation processes were described. The concept is the basis of the constructed questionnaire on motivation in education. The paper presents the process of questionnaire
construction with realible and accurate results and the final tool version with the answer key.
