The set induction method in the process of teaching

The method of active leading in the subject in the didactic literature is called „SET INDUCTION” and seems to be invaluable. It is hard to deny its particularly encouraging function in the process of teaching.It demands creativity and invention from the teacher rather than time and effort devoted to the lesson preparation.Lessons of teachers practicing those methods become interesting and what is more, well liked and expected by the students.The learner feels that he or she turns into the subject of the lesson and simultaneously – the teacher’s partner. The research on the effectiveness and legitimacy of applying the Set Induction Method (carried out among students of high school indicates that its practicing influences positively the learner in numerous areas. To be exact, it has an enormous impact on better understanding of the lesson’s topic, raises students’ interest and concentration. Moreover, the Set Induction Method influences optimistically the atmosphere in the classroom and considerably improves the relation between the teacher and the students.
