An educator or a good uncle? – the role of a street worker in a local environment

The article presents an analysis of the role of a street worker in a local environment based on selected projects. Three various actions were described in the field of street work pedagogy: Pedagogy and Social Animation Group, the concept of National Committee for Education and Resocialisation and the project ”My family – my courtyard – my future”. The article is an attempt to capture the most important attributes of street workers including informality of their action.
