The article presents selected practical aspects of choosing an integrated IT system for enterprise management. The
issue of developing a good request for proposal is very important in the process of conducting the tender, the effect of which is to be the purchase of an integrated IT system for enterprise management. The author's goal was to show selected mechanisms taking place in this process, paying attention to the key factors that are necessary to achieve success. The author intentionally did not mention any specific integrated IT systems due to the willingness to present the discussed issues in an objective manner. The presented selected practical aspects result from several years of business experience that the author has.
