Selected practical aspects of implementing an integrated IT system for enterprise management

The article presents selected practical aspects of implementing an integrated IT system for enterprise management. The implementation of an integrated IT system is a very difficult and complex IT project with a high risk of failure. The purpose of this article is to show the practical aspects that can minimize the potential risk in this type of project. An important aspect is the human factor, which is unpredictable and very complex. The aspects of lean manufacturing that have a significant impact on the management of a manufacturing enterprise by an integrated information system will be discussed. The author
intentionally did not mention any specific integrated IT systems due to the willingness to present the discussed issues in an objective manner. The presented selected practical aspects result from several years of business experience that the author has.
