“Before school starts...” – students’ ideas about the work of early childhood educationteachers – first-grade students’ tutors

Supporting the development of children is one of the most important tasks of a teacher – tutor. The article
presents the ideas of students about the work of a nearly childhood education teacher – a first - grade students’ tutor. The analysis is based on 21 narratives – students’ letters to the parents of prospective students. The article is divided into four thematic parts: I. Principles, values, II. Cooperation, III. Requirements IV. Ways of working. A qualitative analysis of the obtained research material has been carried out and the conclusions
have been drawn
