The Odyssey of Thought seeking „a life woven from reflection on dreams”

Abstract

The text is a metatheoretical attempt to analyze the work O uniwersalizmie (nie)dokończenia. Edukacyjne
(nie)miejsca i (nie)ślady [On universalism of (non)completion. Educational (non)places and (non)traces], devoted to the phenomenon of dreams and the location of its author’s conceptualization in the context of contemporary tendencies, both those of a social and cultural nature, as well as those related to the subject field of research of social sciences and humanities. The phenomenon of dreams is something specifically human, it is an immanent part of human existence and thus determines the specificity and peculiarity of human existence. The key to the understanding of the sense and meaning of the phenomenon of dreams is the heuristic category of ”(non)completion of biographical space-time continuum”, and the imaginarium of „(geo)poetics of dreams” which are inscribed in the strategy of qualitative research of what has the character
of existential imponderabilians.
