Learning styles of 1-3 grade pupils

The article is a BA thesis study report. The aim of the study was to investigate the declaration of pupils in
grades 1-3 on the presented learning styles. The study was carried out using the method of diagnostic survey.
The questionnaire helped to identify the preferred learning style of the subjects and answer the research
questions concerning the prevalence of learning styles among pupils. In my research work independent and
dependent variables were used. The article presents a review of selected issues concerning learning styles. It
outlines the types and characteristics of learning styles and shows the way to identify pupils’ own learning
style and the importance of learning styles for the organization of the educational environment. The analysis of empirical material resulted in formulating conclusions, which may be useful for parents and teachers to improve the learning process. The research results can help to make pupils’ learning process more efficient.
