Abstract

Pedagogical quality, namely the quality of early childhood environment, is characterized by multidimensionality. The paper presents several theoretical and empirical topics pertaining to this occurrence such as: the terminology, the conceptualization, the effect of high pedagogical quality on both general and special education, an overview of the two distinct trends in the comparative studies. This phenomenon may play a pivotal role in general and special education because it is linked to early inclusion and intervention. On account of it, the quality of early childhood environment might be regarded as a new paradigm. However, based on the current research findings, it is difficult to confirm that this judgment is true.
