Abstract

The following text presents an attempt at showing students’sense of self-effectiveness in their careers including their factors like: confidence in general, own, life and professional competence, control of occurrences, competence of range in coordination of the different life spheres. In the article it is presented the students’sense of self-effectiveness in their careers and its importance for human being, people’s descriptions with the high or low convictions about own effectiveness and the significance of self-effectiveness or its lack for the process of planning and development in the career. In order to recognize the level of students’sense of self-effectiveness in their careers and its factors the author of the article has carried out the researches among the students from the state and public universities. This work presents their results which have showed that the most respondents have presented the average level of self-effectiveness in their careers which means that students perceive their personalities, qualifications and achieved competences so far as average skills needed for their professional careers in any environmental, cultural and organizational conditions not only in their own country. They also estimate indifferently their chances to achieve the success, showing average/moderate confidences in their general, own, life and professional competences, controls of occurrences and competences in extent of coordination in different life spheres.
