Abstract

This article explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the education sector, with a particular focus on the digital transformation of education in Azerbaijan. It examines how AI technologies, such as adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring, and automated assessments, are revolutionizing traditional learning environments. The study highlights the benefits of AI in education, including personalized learning experiences, enhanced student engagement, and improved efficiency in teaching and administrative tasks. Additionally, the article discusses the importance of teacher training and infrastructure development to fully leverage AI technologies in educational settings. However, it also addresses the challenges associated with AI adoption, such as data privacy concerns, ethical implications, and the need for digital literacy among educators and students. By analyzing global trends and local implementations, this study provides a comprehensive overview of how AI can be integrated into educational systems to foster innovation and competitiveness. The article concludes that while AI offers significant potential to enhance education, its integration must be carefully managed to ensure ethical and equitable implementation. Future research should focus on the long-term impacts of AI on student learning outcomes and the broader societal implications of AI-driven education.
