Abstract

Work, which is an important form of human activity and a characteristic feature of our species, has not yet become the object of systematic sozology or the subject of protection. Nobody has paid attention to the degradation and depreciation progressing at an accelerated pace with the commodification of work in a market economy. Therefore, I postulate further development of the ecology of work and the creation of the new subdomain within the social ecology - the sozology of work. This paper contains statements relating to the ecology of work. They are supposed to force the decision makers (politicians and economists) to reflect upon the threats related to work and its environment, and to protect them in a wide sense.
