Contemporaneity is full of different problems bothering human being – intensive science development, mainly in information technology area, but also automation and, recently popularising robotisation in many sectors of humans life including occupational work. This character of changes cannot stay indifferent for knowledge of professions, which has influence on direction of modelling occupational education. Current reform is endeavouring to inscribe that in it concentrating on market trends. Recognizes the demands of contemporary work and chances to get one places in identifying abilities shaped in educational processes. Proper preparation for occupational work inscribed in market trends can be the reason of human-employee gratification – because of the possibility of further progress, which inscribes in occupational education model and integrate occupational education with lifelong learning in one area of pedagogy of work initiated by R. Gerlach, cognitively and scientific expanded by B. Baraniak. This unique conception is good theoretical base to investing in human capital. Its development lets not only to change contemporary job market, but also cause that only welleducated employees, specializing in new, needed in modern, developing services sector occupations, can count on employment as the effect of civilizational changes.
