Abstract

Human activity in work environment is connected with individual predispositions, both general and professional. Taking the meaning of human potential into
consideration during the process of professional work requiresits diagnosis and understanding its complexity and determinants. Work culture as a personal feature allows to estimate individual possibilities, both general and professional of a worker or a job applicant. It is especially important considering work and employment instability, workplace and positions changes, as well as individual development. Culture of work is an individual predisposition of a man having an effect on the range of possibilities of current professional activities. It also influences individual professional mobility and readiness to develop. Activities in order to increase the level of work culture are the task of educational institutions and employment policy of firms as well as workers themselves.
