Review Process
The review procedure for the articles submitted for publication in the scientific journal Szkoła - Zawód – Praca is as follows:
- The Editor of the biannual Szkoła - Zawód – Praca decides on the preliminary acceptance or rejection of the submitted article, guided by the consistency of its topic with the journal's profile and compliance with the formal criteria described in the FOR AUTHORS tab.
- In the following part of the review procedure, the article is directed by the Editor-in-Chief to two independent Reviewers outside the academic unit affiliated by the article's Author.
- The author(s) of the publication and the Reviewers do not know each other's identities (double-blind review process). In other cases, the reviewer signs a declaration of no conflict of interest. A conflict of interest is understood as direct personal relations between the Reviewer and the Author (in particular kinship up to the second degree, marriage), professional subordination, or direct scientific cooperation in the last two years before the year the review was prepared.
- The written review contains a clear conclusion from the Reviewer regarding the conditions for admitting the article for publication or its rejection.
- The criteria for qualifying or rejecting a publication and any review form are made public on the journal's website.
- The names of Reviewers for individual publications or journal issues are not disclosed.
- After the review process, the Editorial Board decides on accepting the text for printing or its rejection, considering the final recommendations contained in the reviews. If a Reviewer recommends that an article should be corrected with a requirement for a new review, the Editor-in-Chief sends the text, after the Author has taken into account the received comments, to the same Reviewer.
- Articles after the review will be treated as confidential until the moment of their publication.
